An assignment for one of my classes. Not entirely happy with it, but I don't completely hate it either. Enjoy!

Character Design and Figure Thing

 For Narrative, we had to create a character design and draw it from the front, back, and side. After that, we modeled our character out of sculpey. Using sculpey was actually really fun! Except for the part where I had to try to put the top on the legs. It really didn't want to work, but I finally got it to by  backing the top and the legs separately.

Pied Piper of Hamelin

My assignment for this project was to illustrate a folktale of some sort that wasn't from my culture. So  I decided to do The Pied Piper of Hamelin which takes place in Medieval Germany. I had a lot of fun designing the character! This semester, I'm trying to force myself to create and compose complete illustrations with backgrounds and everything. It's really tough for me, but I feel like I've improving and I'm starting to understand it a little more each time I work on an illustration.  

Frog Friend

Just a quick painting based off of a sketch I did. I really love doing these because it allows me to do a little digital painting practice every once in a while

Buffet

This has been a very frustrating piece, and I don't think I'm quite happy with it yet. I might work on this later after class critique tomorrow, but for now, here you go!
